Jennifer Cahill
Jennifer graduated in Medicine from Monash University in 2000. She completed her residency at the Alfred Hospital. Prior to commencing dermatology training she worked as a research fellow at the Occupational Dermatology Research and Education Centre in Melbourne under the supervision of Assoc. Professor Rosemary Nixon. Her dermatology training was undertaken at St Vincent's Hospital, Oxford Radcliffe Hospital (U.K.), Monash Medical Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital (U.K.)
Jennifer attained fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 2008. In 2009 she received the F.C Florance bequest to complete a fellowhsip in contact dermatitis and occupational dermatology in Europe, the United Kingdon and North America. She works at the Occupational Dermatology clinic at the Skin Health Institute, Carlton and is a visiting consultant to the Alfred Hospital.
Jennifer's areas of interest are contact dermatitis and occupational dermatology, along with general dermatology and skin cancer management. She is a current member and past chair of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs committee for the Australasian College of Dermatologists, and is involved with supervision of trainee dermatologists.
